Summary of the international conference
„National Access Point as a tool to support the quality of travel”
April 9, 2018, Warsaw, Poland

We would like to thank for participation in an international conference entitled "National Access Point as a tool to support the quality of travel", organized on 9 April 2018 at the Novotel Warszawa Centrum hotel in Warsaw (Marszalkowska 94). The patronage over the event was taken by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Investment and Economic Development and the Project Consortium EU European ITS Platform. The organizer of the conference is the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, and the coordinator of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Association ITS POLSKA.

The conference presented the effects of the work of selected European countries over the National Access Points to the traffic conditions data (KPD), with particular reference to the Polish NAP launched on 6 December 2017, implemented as part of the European CROCODILE 2 project. It is extremely important that all interested parties presented the results of their work so far and outline the benefits they will receive by cooperating with the National Access Point in order to provide drivers with up-to-date and reliable information on obstacles on the roads. More information on NAP is available at kpd.gddkia.gov.pl.
